    • 50 gm Natural Henna Powder
    • 15 gm Sugar
    • 50 ml Water
    • 15 ml Lemon Juice
    • 15 ml Eucalyptus Essential Oil

        PRO-TIP:

Combine dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately before blending together

        STEP 3: Mix Mix Mix

Mix all the above wet and dry ingredients until you reach a thick mashed potato-like consistency.

Keep stirring until the lumps have been smoothed out and the liquid is completely incorporated.

        PRO-TIP:

For larger batches you can use a hand blender

        STEP 4: Wrap it up

Take a few drops (5-6) of water and sprinkle it over the paste and do not mix it

Place a layer of plastic wrap (such as cling wrap) or a plastic bag directly over the surface of the henna paste

-Gently press it down to ensure it touches the paste completely, creating a seal that prevents any air contact

        STEP 5: Rest Henna Paste

Let the covered henna paste rest in a warm place like the oven (turned off) for about 6-8 hours, overnight is BEST. If it's really cold it could take longer.

        PRO-TIP:

Recommended temperature for dye-release is 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
Digital Candy thermometers can be used to monitor the temperature

        STEP 6: Check Consistency

Remove plastic wrap and give it a good stir.

Add the rest of the water until you reach a toothpaste-like consistency or when the Henna paste flows off the spoon smoothly.

        PRO-TIP:

        Adjust the consistency
To thin the paste, add water until desired consistency
To thicken the paste, add a pinch of henna powder and stir thoroughly to avoid lumps

Henna paste is ready for use!

Use the Pre-rolled empty Henna cones from your kit or make your own using the sheets provided
